Sooooo you want to cross to the smooth side? Great! Waxing gives so much more smoother, longer lasting results that you just don’t get with shaving or hair removal creams. Once you’ve waxed, you’ll never look back. You’d be surprised just how many men wax these days, young old, gay straight, it doesn’t make any difference.
Speedo, Brazilian, Hollywood?
Let me take the confusion out of what the different types of styles are…
Speedo – This is like a standard bikini line wax, it is the crease line of the groin area. So everything remains in your Speedos but the hairs outside them are removed.
Brazilian – Hairs from the penis, scrotum, butt crack and buttocks (if required) are removed, leaving the hairs on the pubic mound in place and trimmed/shaped to your preference.
Hollywood – Commonly known as a BSC Back Sack and Crack. All hair from the pubic area is removed, every inch left smooth. This is the most popular option.
Should I shave before waxing?
No, the hair needs to be at least 5mm long for waxing. If your first time waxing its advisable to trim prior to the appointment – the longer the hair the more painful it can be.
How often should I wax?
Every 4 – 6 weeks is optimal to maintain the best results from your waxing.
